Teen
Challenge of Kentucky opened the residential ministry of Priscilla's Place this last July,
2003! In early 2002, the offices and outreach ministry moved into
the late nineteenth century Victorian home on East Broadway not far
from downtown Louisville. Now, with remodeling completed, permits
obtained and staff in place, residential discipleship and recovery
ministry is again available in Kentucky through the ministry of Teen Challenge!
Priscilla's Place
is a short term "safe place" for women needing hope and help!
Immediate support group ministry and the evaluation and development of
a Life Plan take place to help with the next step of discipleship and
recovery. Many of the ladies wll go on to long term Teen Challenge centers; others will
continue with the support groups and be encouraged to come under the
care of a local congregation.
Since last July over 25 women have come through the
doors of Priscilla's Place!
Here is what some of these ladies a writing from the long term programs
they attend after leaving Priscilla's
Place:
"I want to thank
you from the bottom of my heart! You took me in when noone else
would. Through Priscilla's Place I was taught the real meaning of a Chist-lived life. I
had all the head knowledge of God, but through your walking me step by
step and telling the truth even when it hurt, I have grasped the real
meaning of a relationship with Christ. I have hope for my future;
I don't have to give up anymore. Thank you for loving me when I could
not love myself. Thank you for the truth, I love you all!"

Another former student says this: "I pray for all the staff at Priscilla's
Place every day. I hope and pray that one day I will be able to
help people the way you all are allowing God to use you to help
people. I finally came to know that He loves me too!! For
the first time in my life I feel like He (God) is my Father. I
thank God for all there every day. You really allow God to use
you to help women in need. I love you all so much."

Nancy Tolle, Director of Priscilla's Place, has been a
pastor in southern Indiana for the past thirteen years and has three
grown daughters. She has a wealth of ministry
